2.From Bansko to the Rila Monastery.
The Rila Monastery is one of the 10 Bulgarian sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List! The monastery was founded in the 10th century by hermit Ivan of Rila, who was later canonized as a saint. It is a male monastery, which is currently home for 60 monks. The monastery’s visitors come to see the relics of its founder - Ivan of Rila, the miraculous icon of Mother of God "Hodegetria", the cross of Raphael, as well as the artful wall frescoes. The monastery is located in the beautiful Rila Mountains, so you will enjoy the mountain views around the shrine and take wonderful pictures!.

3.From Bansko to Bear Park (by car or by train).

Well-known Bear Park in Belitsa is a new home for the rescued bears that were kept in captivity for entertainment or in adverse conditions. At the moment, the park hosts 18 bears who recuperate and readapt to live in their natural environment. For this purpose, the park was built in a conifer forest with broad territory and small lakes for bathing, also the artificial dens were made for the bears to sleep. You will be able to walk in the park to see the bears and listen to the stories about them from a guide. 5.From Bansko to Yagodinska Cave.
